As we approach this High Holy Day Season, Temple Menorah is proud to offer you opportunities for worship and Torah and music that are familiar along with a whole host of programs and experiences that promise to broaden and deepen your High Holy Day experience. Many, although not all, of these programs are also available virtually.

Temple Menorah members in good standing will receive information about in-person and virtual options. Reservations for our in-person services and programs can be made using the form below. We encourage you to invite friends, extended family, and guests.

Temple Menorah members in good standing will automatically receive information on how to participate in the virtual High Holy Day experiences listed in the brochure. Please help us in our planning by complete the boxes below. In order to maintain security, access links will be emailed before the services.  (Reservations for our in-person opportunities can be made further down form.)


 

TEMPLE MENORAH GUEST ACCESS

Temple Menorah is happy to welcome guests to celebrate the High Holy Days with us. While there is no fee for virtual participation, for on-site participation, a contribution of $180 per person or $360 per family is requested. Should you choose to become a member of the synagogue during the coming year, this contribution can be put towards your 5783 membership contribution.

Links to virtual services will be mailed out before each holiday begins.

IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITIES

  • Masks are strongly suggested for services and activities, regardless of vaccination status. Socially distant seating will be available in the social hall in addition to the patio, where the main services will be broadcast on screens in real time.
  • Most in-person opportunities will also be available virtually (with the exception of the off-campus family activities for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur as well as Tashlich).
  • Please have your Temple Menorah High Holy Day confirmation email handy when you arrive to any of our in-person events. We might ask you to show us the email to verify registration.
  • The full Torah and Haftarah Services and Discussions that follow Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur Morning services will be conducted from the Sanctuary in-person with virtual access via Zoom. There will be no outdoor seating option.
  • Rosh Hashanah Day 2, the Yom Kippur Afternoon Study Session, Yom Kippur Afternoon, Yizkor, Ne'ilah, and Havdalah will be conducted in  from the Sanctuary in person with virtual access via Zoom. There will be no outdoor seating option.

CHILDCARE AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAM


Childcare is available for children 2-5 during the evening and morning services (except the second day of Rosh Hashanah) at the cost of $30 per child per service. For children in kindergarten through sixth grade, a children's program will run concurrently with morning services on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur. Children in K-6th grades can participate at no cost.

Children's Program (Grades K-6)


Children's Programming will run concurrently to the morning service. Older children are encouraged to attend the main service although the children's program is open to kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. To reserve a space, please enter your child's name and age in the space provided.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CHILDREN'S PROGRAM FOR ROSH HASHANAH IS FULL. YOU MAY JOIN THE WAITLIST WHEN CHECKING IN FOR SERVICES.
