Celebrate Hanukkah with our community as we witness Rabbi Lewis' installation as Temple Menorah's Rabbi. Come prepared to party like it's your own glow-in-the-dark Bar/Bat Mitzvah! The night begins with a Latke Bar and glow-in-the-dark activities for the kids at 5:15 PM. We will then move into the sanctuary for services, Hanukkah candle lighting, and installation ceremony. Following services, we go back to the social hall for dinner, drinks and dancing! The dinner will include music by One Digit Down, an 80's and 90's cover band that includes members of our Temple Menorah community, the Mitzvah B'ar which will serve signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and Dessert Bar with glow-in-the-dark treats. We'll party like it's 5778!

Evening Events

Our dinner has SOLD OUT.  We're sorry that you will not be able to join us for dinner, but we hope you will still join us for the Latke Bar and service from 5:15pm-7:45pm.

We invite you to join us as we continue the celebration on Saturday, December 16, 2017, beginning at 9:00 AM.

9:00 AM - Bagels, Coffee, and Learning Session ​​​(Learning session with Rabbi Lewis, alongside Rabbi Ken Chasen (Leo Baeck Temple), about trends in synagogue life and synagogue transformation)

10:00 AM - Special Musical Shabbat Morning Service​​

12:00 PM - Kiddush Luncheon hosted by the Board of Trustees

Celebrate Rabbi Lewis' installation and become a Light Up for Leah Donor!   Receive special glow-in-the-dark menorah necklace at the Hanukkah Party. Per Rabbi's request, your donation in honor of Rabbi Leah Lewis' Installation will go towards our Camp Fund, to help provide scholarships for children to go to camp.
